Kangaroo Pop policy

Platform terms

The commercial terms for creator customer workspaces, stores, and use of the Kangaroo Pop platform.

Effective September 26, 2026

Parties and roles

Kangaroo Pop is a Strata Studio product, not a separate legal entity. The creator customer identified by each storefront is the shopper's seller and merchant of record. The customer owns retail prices, shopper support, cancellations, refunds, and store policies. A connected fulfillment provider is a white-label supplier for assigned work and does not own the customer workspace or become the shopper's seller.

Eligibility and account

The customer must provide truthful business information, have authority to bind the business, and comply with the prohibited-use policy. Google is the operator sign-in method in version 1. Each person uses an individual login and may receive membership in more than one customer workspace.

Fees

Each customer pays a one-time $1,000 creator activation fee, subject to any eligible Stripe Promotion Code entered and validated in Stripe Checkout. Automatic tax is not enabled for the current activation charge. A 100% Promotion Code may complete without a PaymentIntent. Kangaroo Pop charges 3.5% of merchandise GMV after item discounts, excluding tax, shipping, local-delivery fees, pickup, and refunded merchandise. Stripe processing belongs to the customer merchant. An external fulfillment provider receives only the wholesale amount accepted for its assigned work.

Sales tax

Each store is the customer's own shop, and the customer is the seller of every order it takes. The customer's connected Stripe account calculates and collects sales tax on the customer's direct charges for every destination, including North Carolina, and the customer remains responsible for registrations, filings, payments, notices, settings, refunds, disputes, and tax corrections. Kangaroo Pop does not calculate, collect, hold, report, file, or remit sales tax for the customer's sales, and its platform fee never includes tax. Unsupported classifications, exemptions, destinations, or unready tax settings may block checkout.

Onboarding and activation

Activation payment and verified Stripe merchant capability are customer-level requirements. Each store separately completes catalog, fulfillment, delivery-method, policy, and publication readiness. Kangaroo Pop may suspend access for risk, inaccurate evidence, prohibited use, security, provider restriction, or material breach, with an audited reason.

Content and production

The customer and shopper must have rights to uploaded art, names, photos, trademarks, and instructions. A self-fulfilling customer owns production quality and product safety. A connected provider owns those duties for accepted supplier work. Kangaroo Pop may reject unlawful, unsafe, infringing, deceptive, or technically unsuitable content.

Availability and termination

The platform depends on hosting and third-party providers and is not promised to be uninterrupted. Either party may end future use, but payment, refund, dispute, data-retention, and completed-order obligations survive. The hosted environment processes live commercial payments through Stripe; onboarding fees, orders, refunds, and payouts are real money movements once a workspace is activated.
